Course Overview

This course provides an overview of the consumer and his/her need for informed personal financial decisions & judgments. Topics include: money management and planning, budgeting, tax planning credit and borrowing, saving and investment, housing, taxes, and retirement and estate planning.

Managing Personal Finances is mandatory in today’s world. It provides the means of keeping track of personal expenses, personal debt and subsequently helps the calculation of a person’s net worth financially. It is also a critical function in organizations. Successful leadership and management of others requires successful leadership and management of oneself. Personal Finance Management is therefore a critical function in self-management.
